Italy - HOTEL DETAILS host GRIVEN LED fixtures

From October 26 to 28, GRIVEN has been the author of the lighting setting dedicated to the presentation event held in Montespertoli in Tuscany. Reserved to buyers responsible for hotels, as well as architects and designers cooperating with hotels and resorts, the 1200 sqm exhibition ground of Montegufoni Castle has been divided into 4 main areas. A wonderful Renaissance style location just 20 km far away from Florence, the historic home of Montegufoni hosts a masterpiece of the twentieth century Italian art: the fresco entitled "The Hall of Masks " by the Tuscan painter Gino Severini, some of whose prestigious paintings are displayed at the MOMA of New York. This masterpiece was commissioned in 1921 to the representative of the Italian Futurist avant-garde movement by the English writer Sir George Sitwell, then owner of Montegufoni.

The main courtyard of Montegufoni castle, now historic home and luxury bed & breakfast facility, is dominated by the view of the imposing tower inspired by Palazzo della Signoria in Florence. During the three-day event, this beautiful courtyard has benefited from a remarkable, LED lighting scheme that has been able to highlight during the night the old courtyard of the castle with live, vibrant colours in a modern way. 10 units of JADE RGB and 2 units of EMERALD RGBW have illuminated respectively the walls of the inner courtyard and the tower of the castle with a dynamic alternation of color scenes that have amazed for their even distribution and powerful output.

JADE RGB is a newly engineered rounded spotlight which houses nine high power RGB LEDs, as well as in-built electronics and power supply unit. Providing a vibrant and brilliant colour palette from such a compact chassis, JADE RGB features functional efficiency whereas spectacularly dynamic lighting performance is assured by digital control of all functions, either onboard for standalone operation, with Master-Slave selectable for multiple unit synchronization, or from external DMX512 controller. All functions must however be addressed either via the optional Infrared Remote Control or Weezerd 1 multi-functional devices. The wide choice of exchangeable optics groups, ranging from spot aperture beams to elliptical wide distribution - now including also the brand new extra wide version - and the full pan and tilt orientation adjustment further enhance JADE RGB maximum flexibility for any surface mount application purpose.

Benefiting from state of the art electronic colour mixing, EMERALD features 60 premium quality high RGBW power LEDs, coupled with a variety of high build and design optics groups for the utmost optical efficiency, balanced projection and photometric flexibility. The combination of RGBW LEDs offers an unprecedented astonishing white light output quality, as well as a wider variety of intermediate colour hues for an even broader range of application purposes. Such a remarkable performance is enhanced by the capacitive touchscreen display that allows for a direct access to all on-board functions.
